...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CULLMAN...EASTERN

FRANKLIN...WESTERN MORGAN AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 357 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles northeast of Phil Campbell, or 10 miles southeast of

Russellville, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is

         possible.

Locations impacted include...

Mt Hope, Trinity, Chalybeate Springs, Speake, Tharptown,

Russellville, Caddo, Basham, Wren, and Landersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Needmore, or near Haleyville, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is

         possible.

Locations impacted include...

Haleyville, Addison, Sardis, Brushy Lake, Moreland, Inmanfield,

Needmore, Posey Field Airport, Upshaw, Pebble, Sipsey River Rec Area,

Grayson, Addison Municipal Airport, and Bankhead National Forest.
