This becomes the focus now for the near future . . .
5:42 PM - It's hard to catch them on a busy day like today, but posting these Spanish versions of Tornado Warnings when I can, just in case they help.
5:44 - There are actually two circulations showing up now, so really, anywhere in the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, I'd go ahead and take shelter and not wait on if it's upgraded to a Tornado Warning later. These are dangerous storms, even if the parts trying to produce tornadoes are a little more dangerous. Even these Severe Thunderstorm Warning polygons, these are storms worth sheltering for. These are supercells out ahead of a main squall line.
5:47 - And we've got a Severe Thunderstorm Warning that continues over to Athens and Madison . . . Harvest . . . Tanner.
5:48 - Lawrence County EMA has reported baseball sized hail South of Wheeler Dam. So again, for the hail threat alone, you need to be inside a sturdy house or other strong building. Please do not get caught out driving through any of these storms. It's worth pulling over to the next exit or the nearest building you could get inside.
5:54 - Jeff Castle still has a live stream going as well. Like he mentions, there are a lot of storm chasers up this way where the storms are coming through.
5:55 - Unfortunately it looks like for the next hour or two, the chances are maximized for supercells capable of very large hail or producing a tornado in this zone in far Northern Alabama.
6:01 PM - New severe thunderstorm warning includes Huntsville.
