All right, so the thinking remains basically the same. We could see just a squall line, but an isolated supercell is also possible somewhere in this broad zone.
2:36 AM - And already we've got a warning for a storm affecting Red Bay to Russellville to Phil Campbell all the way over to Moulton. At minimum, I'd get away from windows.
Ideally you're in an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy house rather than trying to ride out these kinds of winds in a mobile home. But the storm is not showing any signs of trying to produce a tornado for now.
[2:35AM] Strong to severe storms continue to push ESE into the area- bringing primary threats of gusty to damaging winds and hail as well as a low tornado threat. Stay weather aware & have multiple ways to get warnings!⚠️ #HUNwx pic.twitter.com/K0IyHaZYeV

And thanks to the Weather Service office in Huntsville for this visual update, saves me the trouble of navigating Radarscope's quirks with my odd setup.
2:41 - Also got a warning for Lamar County now.
3:26 AM - And it will be interesting to see what happens when these two clusters of storms do come together somewhere in North Central Alabama.
3:31 - The Tornado Watch has expired for Tennessee.
And the Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been cancelled for Colbert, Lauderdale, and Franklin Counties in NW AL.
3:33 - As the storms move along, a Special Weather Statement has been issued for Cullman and Morgan Counties, also including places like Arab and back to Moulton. Winds could still gust up to 50 miles per hour, which is under severe limits but pretty strong winds.
3:37 - And there is another SWS that includes Jasper and Double Springs, where the storms are strong, mainly with gusty winds, but not severe.
3:41 - Similar storms moving through Franklin County, TN.
3:45 - And a good chunk of West Central Alabama.
3:45 AM: In addition to the severe storms, look out for gusty winds along the clearing line of storms. Muscle Shoals just gusted to 51 mph, leading us to believe a wake low is moving through. Trees could fall even behind the main area of storms! pic.twitter.com/WnMdzQnuE8

And it looks like a Wake Low may be moving through Northwest Alabama. If you've got trees around your home, please be mindful of the winds tonight. Get to a safer place in the house if you need to. Our weather sure isn't boring this time of year.
3:53 - And it's starting to look like Tuesday/Tuesday night will be well worth watching around here. For now it looks like mainly a threat for supercells producing large hail, but then forming into clusters capable of some wind damage too.
4 AM - Emergency Management in Colbert County reports a tree down in Littleville, at Bethel Cemetery Road/County Line Road.
4:01 - And Walker County has just gone under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning along with a lot of other counties. This does include the city of Jasper.
There's the polygon. It also includes Arley.
This is for 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail in these storms. Indicated by radar.
Warning for Southern Cullman County, new post coming.
