...A WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT THE MIDSOUTH LATE TUESDAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING...
.A deepening upper level low pressure system will interact with an
approaching Arctic cold front to bring impactful snowfall to the
Midsouth Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. At this time,
snowfall of 3 to 5 inches is forecast north of Interstate 40. Up to
6 inches will be possible in localized bands near Missouri and
Kentucky borders. South of I-40, a mixture of light freezing rain,
sleet and snow is forecast, with snow amounts generally 1 to 3
inches.
