As of now seeing signs of damaging 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail with this storm.
Shifting focus to the home front.
7:13 PM - More showers and thunderstorms are forming over North Alabama. Damaging winds, large hail, or an isolated tornado are possible with any storms that reach severe limits. The atmosphere does not favor tornadoes as much as it does in Middle Tennessee, but still, I would take any of these warnings seriously.
Strongest storm without a warning is probably the one near Lexington, AL, 40 mph wind gusts possible and small hail. There is a special weather statement in effect for that one.
7:24 - Got a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Giles and Marshall Counties in Tennessee, near Pulaski. This is showing some weak rotation, and I would take tornado precautions for it - small room on the lowest floor of a sturdy house, near the center, away from windows.
If this is upgraded to a Tornado Warning I'll start a new post.
[7:30 PM] Supercells have begun to develop across the area. This is expected to continue for the next several hours with a small break before our secondary round overnight. Damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes are possible with any storms this evening. #HUNwx pic.twitter.com/MToY3d5VSJ

And we have supercells forming locally now. The Weather Service in Huntsville has us covered.
Going to be a long night.
7:32 PM - New Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Madison, Jackson, and Franklin Counties, includes Northern Huntsville up to New Market, Huntland, and Hytop.
Don't want to confuse things by making a lot of posts for each separate storm.
If we get a Tornado Warning I'll make a new post or if a thunderstorm looks more damaging than the others.
7:41 - And things are getting busy. Let's try to catch up with the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. Still got one for Dekalb and Jackson Counties affecting places like Scottsboro, Section, Pigsah, and Ider.
Another for Northern Huntsville up to Huntland, New Market, Hytop - so Madison, Jackson, and Franklin (TN) Counties affected by that.
Then to the West we have a new one, for Eastern Lauderdale, Northern Lawrence, and Limestone Counties. That one includes Ardmore, Rogersville, Elkmont, Lexington.
And finally we still have one for Giles County, TN.
The ones for Limestone and Giles carry tags that note there is weak rotation and a tornado is possible.
