* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.


* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following

  county, Cumberland.


* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.


* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 439 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin

    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain

    have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over

    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Crossville, Fairfield Glade, Crab Orchard, Cumberland

    Mountain State Park, Slate Springs and Lake Tansi.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

  Water over roadways.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 320 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream

    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over

    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Hoover, Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Pell City, Leeds, Moody,

    Calera, Chelsea, Montevallo, Columbiana, Wilsonville,

    Lincoln, Indian Springs Village, Vincent, Harpersville,

    Westover, Highland Lakes, Mount Laurel and Fowler Lake.

  areas is occurring or is imminent.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 228 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream

    flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected

    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor

    flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Bessemer, Homewood,

    Pelham, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Hueytown, Pell City,

    Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Fairfield, Springville, Odenville,

    Oneonta, Springville, Blountsville, Cleveland, Dallas, Locust

    Fork, Altoona, Snead, Susan Moore, Walnut Grove, Trafford,

    Allgood, Fairview, Hayden, Nectar, Rosa, County Line, Inland
