NOTES:
We are under a Heat Advisory tomorrow, and it looks like a rough week ahead with regard to the combination of heat/humidity.
This past week, we had a heat-related death in Alabama when a young child was left in a hot car. It was an extreme case, left in there for five hours, but even five minutes is too long. People should not do this at all. “Beat the heat! Check the back seat!”
Weatherbrains recently paid tribute to Gary England.
And Johnny Depp recently joined Alice Cooper to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Any storm chasers who never jam to that kind of music are missing out.
But back on a serious note, here is a guide to rip current safety for beachgoers.
DISCUSSION:
It's over on Substack.
